The work on this project was again completed to the highest of standards and within a tight deadline – requiring to be opened for the ANZAC Day parade in April 2016.
The new pavers, steps and access ramps have given the Bridge a much-needed facelift, and the surrounding park is again a place of beauty. It was a real pleasure to be able to attend the service on ANZAC Day with many other Canterbury people thankful to have this special venue for remembrance restored.
